Fertility Counselling

Going through fertility treatment can feel as though your life is on hold and it is hard to move forward.  Counseling is an opportunity to explore any emotional difficulty, fears, and anxieties, or distress that you might experience during your fertility journey. It can help you to cope, make choices, and change aspects of your situation. It doesn’t only involve giving advice or direction to take a particular course of action; at times it may involve providing information. We are here to help you express your emotions freely in a supportive environment.

Ovulation Induction

Ovulation induction is the stimulation of ovulation by medication. The goal of ovulation induction is to increase a woman’s chances of conceiving a child, either through sexual intercourse or by using intrauterine insemination (IUI) or another fertility treatment. However, when the absence of ovulation is a symptom of another fertility issue, treating the underlying problem can also restore normal ovulation and fertility.

Intrauterine insemination

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman’s uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization.

IUI provides the sperm an advantage by giving it a head start but still requires a sperm to reach and fertilize the egg on its own. It is a less invasive and less expensive option compared to In Vitro Fertilization.

Vitrification

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a type of assistive reproductive technology (ART). It involves retrieving eggs from a woman’s ovaries and fertilizing them with sperm. This fertilized egg is known as an embryo. The embryo can then be frozen for storage or transferred to a woman’s uterus.

Phsiologically-selected Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is an assisted reproductive technology (ART) used to treat sperm-related infertility problems. ICSI is used to enhance the fertilization phase of in vitro fertilization (IVF) by injecting a single sperm into a mature egg. The fertilized egg is then placed in a woman’s uterus or fallopian tube.

Intra Uterine Insemination

IUI(Intra Uterine Insemination) is a type of artificial insemination that involves having sperm that have been washed and concentrated placed in a woman’s uterus. The sperm could be from your partner or a donor.
