Preimplantation Genetic Testing
Enhance your chances of a healthy pregnancy by screening embryos for genetic abnormalities before transfer.
What is PGT?
Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) is a sophisticated procedure performed in conjunction with IVF. It allows our embryologists to analyze a small cluster of cells from an embryo to detect chromosomal abnormalities (PGT-A) or specific genetic diseases (PGT-M) prior to implantation in the uterus.
By selecting the most genetically sound embryos, we significantly improve the likelihood of a successful implantation, reduce the risk of miscarriage, and help ensure the birth of a healthy baby.
Benefits of Genetic Screening
Reduced Miscarriage Risk
Chromosomal abnormalities are a leading cause of miscarriage. Screening helps avoid transferring affected embryos.
Higher Transfer Success
Selecting euploid (chromosomally normal) embryos drastically improves the implantation rate per transfer.
Prevent Genetic Disease
Couples carrying known single-gene disorders can use PGT-M to prevent passing these conditions to their children.
Discover if PGT is Right For You
Discuss your medical history and family goals with our specialists to see if genetic screening should be part of your IVF protocol.
